I’m a native Croatian speaker, and I love helping people reconnect with their roots through language. Many of my students grew up in the USA with Croatian parents or grandparents, and now they want to speak the language for themselves. In our lessons, you won’t just learn words and grammar: you’ll discover the stories, traditions, and culture that make Croatia so special. Whether your goal is to talk with family, visit your hometowns, or simply feel closer to your heritage, I’ll guide you on that journey in a personal and supportive way.

What does Croatian taste like for you?
Bregofska pita (Koprivnički Bregi pie) | a traditional pie from my hometown in Podravina
It’s made with apples, raisins, and walnuts and has always been part of the most important family moments – weddings, Christmas, Easter.
My great-grandma and mum taught me how to make it, and it’s still our family’s special dessert. The recipe is more that 200 years old and it’s on the list of protected Croatian immaterial herritage.
