My big Croatian family, bake i dede, my partner, in-laws, friends, colleagues – all of them are my special Croats. My goal is to help you reconnect with yours – through the Croatian language.
My path
My professional path (so far)
I founded LJ – Croatian Language School because I wanted to build a community of Croatian language learners where you learn the language by doing – where you speak regardless of your learning level.
At Lj, I try my best to be a professor I would like to learn with: professional, creative, supportive, and patient.

Passion for teaching
At the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, I achieved my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Croatian Language and Literature and Pedagogy. During my studies, I discovered my passion for teaching Croatian as a foreign language when my very first student reconnected with her baka through the language. That’s when I knew this was what I wanted to do.
Since then, I’ve helped learners from all over the world – many who once thought Croatian was “too difficult”. With patience, cultural insight, and a clear learning path, I’ll help you build the confidence to connect with the people who matter the most to you.
