My love for Croatian language began with my bake i dede, 5 of my grandparents, who shared their amazing stories, with my family who taught me to read, and two amazing professors of Croatian language who have shown me how amazing teaching Croatian can be.

I was born and grew up in Croatia and my native language is the kajkavian dialect. Growing up surrounded by grandparents, getting a deep insight into Croatian customs, traditions, and culture was part of my lifestyle, so I can incorporate it in your lessons if this is important to you.

My professional path began with education at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. I completed undergraduate and graduate programs in Croatian Language and Literature and Pedagogy, and got a Master’s Degree.

During my studies, I fell in love with teaching and started teaching Croatian as a foreign language. I gained 4 years of experience in teaching, creating materials and language assessment. 

I founded LJ - Croatian Language School because I wanted to build a community of Croatian language learners where you learn the language by doing - where you speak regardless of your learning level. At Lj, I try my best to be a professor I would like to learn with: professional, creative, supportive, and patient.
